Fine antique Ticket to the Thanksgiving Service held at St Paul's Cathedral for the recovery from typhoid for the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII. This particular ticket was given to the President of Geographical Society, Sir Clements Robert Markham (1830-1916). He was an English geographer, explorer and writer, famous for organising the British National Antarctic Expedition of 1901-1904, and for launching the polar career of Captain Robert Falcon Scott.
