Fine and rare antique Russian newspaper announcement issued by the White Forces regarding the Death of Tsar Nicholas II in 1918 following the now famous communication from the Press Office of the Central Executive Committee of Soviets, that because of the threat to Ekaterinburg by the monarchic Czechoslovaks that the Regional Executive Committee of Soviets had ordered the death of the former Tsar, which was then carried out on the 16th July. The order had in fact come from Lenin in Moscow.
This announcement also stated that the Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna and the Tsarevich Alexei were still alive. It was later discovered by the Sokolov investigation after Ekaterinburg was taken that the whole imperial family along with their retainers had been murdered in the Ipatiev House.
