For sale is an extremely rare copy of 'Rossia v Nashem Serdtse', 'Russia in Our Hearts', printed in Russia in 1995 by Grand Duchess Leonida (1914-2010), being one of the first books published in Russia by monarchists following Perestroika let alone the claimant to the imperial throne. Published in order to inform the Russian public at the time, who had not long come out of Communism, that the Romanov's had never forgotten Mother Russia and that here was a legitimate claimant to the throne.160 pages with photographs, copies of letters etc. Grand Duke Vladimir died in 1992 and was buried in St. Petersburg.
Grand Duchess Leonida was the consort of Vladimir Kirillovich, Grand Duke of Russia, pretender to the Russian throne. She was an active and outspoken advocate of the claims advanced by Vladimir and their daughter, Maria Vladimirovna, to be accepted as the legitimate Heads of the Romanov dynasty and de jure sovereigns of the Russian Empire.
