Fine antique pair of gold embossed tickets to the Special Performance at the Royal Opera House hosted by Prince Henry and Princess Alice Duke and Duchess of Gloucester in honour of the State Visit of King Hussein of Jordan (1935-1999), and Princess Muna to the UK, dated 21st July 1966, it is accompanied by the seating plan as well as the private dinner afterwards at the Dorchester Hotel also embossed in gold with the royal coat of arms. From the collection of Major Michael Charles Babington Hawkins (1914-1977), and his wife Virginia nee Heath, he was ADC to Prince Henry Duke of Gloucester.
