Fine antique royal presentation Cabinet photograph signed 'Alfred 1884", in ink by Prince Alfred Duke of Edinburgh, later Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (1844-1900), son of Queen Victoria, mounted and housed in its original gilt wooden easel frame. The photo is by Abel Lewis of Isle of Man. From the collection of their chaperon and tutor John Neale Dalton (1839-1931), he was also Chaplain to Queen Victoria and King Edward VII.
