Fine antique Easter card featuring an image of Bernstorff, signed by Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna of Russia, sister of Tsar Nicholas II, addressed to her beloved tutor Ferdinand Thormeyer (1858-1944), written from the Hvidore in Denmark 17th April circa 1891, written in French and Russian 

"Christ is Risen! Thank you for your card and for for your Easter wishes, and I in turn send you. my best wishes for the beautiful Feast of Easter. I have been here in Hvidore; we have had very fine weather! Mama sends you her regards xxxx Princess Golitsyna is also here xxxx America and I shall probably remain for another three or four weeks. My children send you their kind regards.
