Fine antique and heavy volume entitled 'Celebration of Her Majesty's Jubilee 1887' embossed in gold on the front with VR surmounted by a crown. A rare and possibly unique item detailing everything that went on during the Celebrations down to the list of gifts the Queen received, 189 pages.

Provenance - Arthur Bigge, 1st Baron Stamfordham (1849-1931), and his daughter Margaret nicknamed Daisy.

Stamfordham was a British Army officer and courtier. He was Private Secretary to Queen Victoria during the last few years of her reign, King Edward VII and to King George V during most of his reign. He was the maternal grandfather of Lord Adeane, Private Secretary to Queen Elizabeth II from 1953 to 1972.
