Fine antique royal palace issued Court programme issued produced for a 'Divertissement' given by order of Prince Rainier III at the Palais de Monaco, early in his reign and prior to his marriage to Grace Kelly, dated 12th April 1950. Printed on thick handmade paper with the gold embossed coat of arms of the Grimaldi family, and cypher of Prince Rainier with red and white cord binding and heraldic decoration. The evening's entertainment was realised under the direction of Nadia Boulanger, one of the most significant musical figures of the 20th century, and featured a curated programme of music, dance and staged divertissements perfumed by leading artists of the Opera de Monte Carlo. Printed in a limited edition of 500 this being number 133. From the collection of Count Fernand Caillard d'Aillieres (1916-1985) and his wife, he was Chef de Protocol at the French Embassy
