Fine antique Trinity House (overseeing maritime navigation) dinner seating plan attended by Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill who was an Honorary Elder Brother, dated 16th December 1954, embossed in gold with arms of Trinity House, housed in its original gilt and black wooden frame. Prince Philip was the Master having been appointed in 1952, shortly after Queen Elizabeth II accession, and he held the post until 1969. Guests include senior members of the Royal Navy. This is accompanied by another Table Plan for 1953 and also the gilt stamped leather bound Trinity House London folder featuring the history accompanied by photo of Trinity House. This From the collection of Major Michael Charles Babington Hawkins (1914-1977), and his wife Virginia nee Heath, he was ADC to Prince Henry Duke of Gloucester.
