Fine antique CDV photo Royal Album by Mayall from the early 1860s issued by license of Queen Victoria and her family in a dark green morocco leather blind-tooled with a Victorian gothic quatrefoil design with elaborate gilt clasps and gilt metal arms of the United kingdom, encircled by the Order of the Garter surmounted by a crown - the official emblem of Queen Victoria. The pages are gilt edged and heavy board structure. There are 28 CVD's of Queen Victoria, Prince Albert, The Prince of Wales, The Princess of Wales, The Princess Royal later Empress Frederick, Prince Alfred, Princess Alice, Princess Helena, Princess Louise, Prince Arthur, Prince Leopold, Princess Beatrice etc some of which are hand coloured
