Fine antique Queen Victoria Royal Dinner Menu dated Osborne 30th June 1887 during Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee, this dinner falls nine days after Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee Service (21st June 1887). Court Circular notes for late June show she was receiving guests, foreign dignitaries and members of the Jubilee  delegation in smaller groups. Numerous Windsor dinners were used for guests who had not been received on the exact Jubilee dates. 30th June falls in a block of formal Jubilee period court dinners that were unusually large and elaborate, printed and illustrated with a finely coloured vignette of Windsor Castle beneath the royal coat of arms and VRI with English Roses and Scottish Thistles
