Fine antique Wedgewood creamware plate handprinted with the Hanoverian coat of arms from a service ordered by the Duke of Clarence, later King William IV in 1821, most likely made while he was living with the famous actress Dorothy Jordan. The plate comes from Osborne House and was given to M.A. Francis by Jessie Francis her niece, who was Chief Confectioner to Queen Victoria and later first Principle of the London School of Cookery - no chips or cracks. The plate is accompanied by notes relating to the plate in the final image
