Fine antique programme issued by the Opera de Monte Carlo in honour of Prince Rainier III with Princess Caroline named as Ballet President (Princess Grace had passed away in 1982), produced for the Monaco National Day celebrations dated 19th November 1989. Printed on thick handmade paper with the gold embossed coat of arms of the Grimaldi family, and cypher of Prince Rainier III and red and white cord binding. The programme was for a performance of Rossini's La Cambiale di Matrimony and performances by the Ballet de Monte Carlo. Printed in a limited edition of 500 this being number 252. It is accompanied by the original invitation and orchestra seat ticket number 84 with the original envelope sent from the Palace. From the collection of Count Fernand Caillard d'Aillieres (1916-1985) and his wife, he was Chef de Protocol at the French Embassy
