Fine antique invitation from  the Lord Provost of Edinburgh to a Luncheon in the Assembly Rooms in honour of Princess Elizabeth later Queen Elizabeth II Presentation of the Freedom of the City of Edinburgh, dated 16th July 1947, embossed in gold at the header. One of the last major civic honours before her marriage to Prince Philip later that year.
