Fine antique signed letter on Whatman embossed stationery from Princess Sophia (1777-1848) fifth daughter of King George III written in French from The Hague dated simply as 14th January but circa 1813-1815, written to a cousin most likely Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia Princess of Orange, expressing hope of finding her in The Hague and her pleasure of the prospect of a meeting, written during the period of political disruption surrounding the Napoleonic era when the Dutch court frequently moved between residences, signing off "Votre tres affect cousin Sophie"
