Fine antique large Victorian cream silk commemorative wedding rosette celebrating the marriage of the future King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra 10th March 1863. The rosette with pleated centre is mounted with an embroidered and printed silk ribbon depicting portrait busts of Prince Edward and Princess Alexandra within floral and cherubic surrounds , with the Prince of Wales Feathers, Scottish thistles and an English rose at the base. Housed under protective glass in a wooden frame.
