Fine antique royal programme for a wild boar hunt held on 1st December 1983 in the princely hunting grounds of Thiergarten, near Regensburg, Germany, hosted by Prince Johannes von Thurn und Taxis (1926–1990) and his wife Princess Gloria (born 1960).

The decorative booklet features an engraved-style illustration of a charging wild boar on the cover, burgundy cord binding, deckle-edged paper and the embossed princely coat of arms.

The programme details the three-day gathering, 30 November–2 December 1983, including formal dinners at the princely palace in Regensburg, the hunt itself, luncheon and afternoon tea.

Of particular interest is the accompanying printed guest list, complete with individual room allocations, recording a distinguished gathering of European royalty, aristocracy, politicians and prominent society figures.

Notable guests included:

  • Archduke Géza of Austria and Archduchess Monika.
  • Prince Michael of Bourbon-Parma and Princess Maria Pia.
  • A Princess of Jordan.
  • Prince Johann Georg of Hohenzollern.
  • Prince Albert Friedrich and Princess Alexandra of Thurn und Taxis.
  • Princess Iniga of Urach and Princess Elisabeth of Urach.
  • Prince Albrecht of Oettingen-Spielberg.
