Fine antique Ceremonial used at the wedding of Queen Victoria's son Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught (1850-1942), to Princess Louise Margaret of Prussia (1860-1917), at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, dated 13th March 1879. From the collection of Richard Assheton Cross, 1st Viscount Cross (1823-1914), British statesman and Conservative politician who served as Home Secretary 1874-1880 & 1885-1886.
