Fine antique signed letter in French from Antoine Mathieu Sequier (1768-1848), dated Paris 26th April 1826, discussing the conditions surrounding his withdrawal from official duties and states that such conditions woful doffer no advantage to the current administration. He served as Premier President de la Cour de cassation, the highest judicial office in France, and was one of the most important legal figures of the Bourbon Restoration, signed 'President Seguier'
