Fine antique Menu from the Reception and Banquet held at Guildhall hosted by the Lord Mayor Sir Edward Howard in honour of the State Visit of President Gustav Heinemann of Germany (1899-1976), dated 25th October 1972, retaining its original ribbon, accompanied by an information packet relating to the history of Turtle Soup over the last two hundred years at Guildhall a traditional dish served, and back again on the menu but this time is being responsibly sourced from a turtle farm in Grand Cayman Island in the West Indies.
