We believe in offering clients items that are unique and rare for aficionados of the antique and collector's world. Bibelot is a late nineteenth century word derived from the French word bel ‘beautiful’, meaning a small item of beauty, curiosity or interest. The word ephemera is derived from the sixteenth century Greek word ephmera meaning a printed or hand written paper not meant to be retained for a long period of time.

Fine antique group of original ephemera relating to the 1969 Monaco Lions Club Gala Dinner at the Hotel de Paris dated 28th March 1969, held in aid of the club's social works, attended by Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco and Princess Ashraf Pahlavi of Persia (twin sister of the Shah) and Princess Souvanna Phouma. Included in the collection is the printed invitation, Soiree de Gala concert programme with musical programme and menu with period hand drawn pen sketches to the reverse of the Shah with a lion and TWA Trans World Airlines the airline of transatlantic elite travel, and contemporary press cuttings describing the event and those who attended, retiring its original ribbon. From the collection of Count Fernand Caillard d'Aillieres (1916-1985) and his wife, he was Chef de Protocol at the French Embassy
