Frederick Ponsonby known as Fritz 1st Baron Sysonby Keeper of the Privy Purse so of Sir Henry Ponsonby (1867-1935), signed by Jane Spencer Baroness Churchill Lady of the Bedchamber to Queen Victoria (1826-1900), signed by Dame Georgiana Buller (1884-1953), daughter of General Sir Redvers Henry Buller recipient of the Victoria Cross, she opened the first school dedicated to occupational therapy and was a recipient of the Royal Red Cross, signed by Sir Fleetwood Isham Edwards Keeper of the Privy Purse to Queen Victoria (1842-1910), also signed by his wife Mary nee Majendie, signed Charles Alexander Yorke 8th Earl of Hardwicke (1869-1936), also signed by his brother Hon. Bernard Elliot Yorke (1874-1944), dated 11th February 1896. On the reverse is a Victorian photo of St James's Palace .

Provenance - Arthur Bigge, 1st Baron Stamfordham (1849-1931), and his daughter Margaret nicknamed Daisy.

Stamfordham was a British Army officer and courtier. He was Private Secretary to Queen Victoria during the last few years of her reign, King Edward VII and to King George V during most of his reign. He was the maternal grandfather of Lord Adeane, Private Secretary to Queen Elizabeth II from 1953 to 1972.
