Fine antique Royal Buckingham Palace invitation embossed in gold with ERII surmounted by a crown, to a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace hosted by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, dated 19th July 1988. The invitation in made out to Police Constable and Mrs Lewis Waters and is accompanied by an original signed letter from Commander Richard Aylard Assistant Private Secretary to the Prince and Princess of Wales on embossed St James's Palace stationery dated 9th June 1988 informing Waters that Princess Diana was pleased they had accepted the invitation and was looking forward to seeing them at the party, accompanied by the original envelope sent from St James's Palace.
