Fine antique signed letter dated 23rd November 1938 from Mary, Princess Royal Countess of Harewood (1897-1965), only daughter of King George V and Queen Mary, addressed to her son Gerald, signed "Mummy", written on embossed mourning stationery for Marlborough House, home of Queen Mary, telling her son to be more careful about cleaning his teeth and telling him to cut his hair when he is photographed at Kissach 'as George was done', folded neatly and addressed by the Princess on the front with 'M' in the left hand corner showing it came from her. From the collection of Gerald David Lascelles (1924-1998) and Angela Lascelles (1919-2007), first wife of the Honourable Gerald Lascelles second son of the 6th Earl of Harewood and his wife the Princess Royal - despite divorcing she remained very close to Queen Elizabeth II and the Royal Family.
