Fine antique signed letter from Jules Beranck ? addressed to Count von der Pahlen in Mitau Courland, modern day Jelgava, Latvia, dated 26th July 1887, updating Pahlen about his health, which appeared stable but expresses concern over new symptoms including  persistent sweating, tingling sensations in his arms, and occasional white spots on his limbs which is causing him concern. He seeks Pahlen's advice as to whether to resume a previous medication regime
