Fine antique unpublished typescript diary entitled "Diary of the Hon. Michael-John and the Hon. Joanna Knatchbull's Tour in India, Nepal and Burma September-October 1973", bound with cloth tie. They were the children of Patricia Knatchbull, 2nd Viscountess Mountbatten of Burma and John Knatchbull 7th Baron Brabourne, their grandfather was Lord Louis Mountbatten. A privately produced contemporaneous travel diary recording an extended journey through South East Asia, including India, Nepal and Burma. The diary details flight, receptions, embassy hospitality, meetings with government figures and Indian princely families, 54 pages.
