Fine antique Programme for a musical and theatrical soiree made by Maison Stern held at the Elysee Palace, Paris on 16th October 1905, hosted by President Emile Loubet in honour of Prince Ferdinand I of Bulgaria (1861-1948) during his official visit to France, beautifully decorated with the Bulgarian royal coat of arms bearing the Cyrillic motto 'Fidelity and Constancy'. The interior features Loubet's gilded monogram, while the back cover bears the emblem of the French Republic. The entertainment included performances by leading artists of the Paris Opera, Opera-Comique, and Comedie-Francaise. Maison Stern specialised in engraving letter paper, invitations, announcements, monograms, signet rings, and greeting cards for members of royal families and aristocracy from around the world.
